To me photography is linked to the street and the passion for travelling, wandering around and collecting emotions.

It is about strolling around so as to get to know the world and its people, whilst trying to get close to their inner world and thus picture moments of humanity.

Photography allows me to live experiences which enrich my life on a deeper emotional level becoming for me the best way in which I can connect my inner side with the outer world. In my pictures I always try to combine depth of space with depth of feelings.

I love to observe and I enjoy the moments of wait and anticipation in which I become completely absorbed, right before taking a picture. This time is usually indefinite and very tense in that it is during those moments that I am striving to capture the harmony of the scene which quickly unfolds before the viewfinder of my camera.
Such viewfinder, that little rectangle, is by magic able to contain and keep out.

I am fascinated with how photography is able to create misunderstanding by capturing a moment of life and in such misunderstanding I enjoy catching irony, ambiguity, doubt, reflection or simply a different point of view.

Each picture is usually only an interpretation of reality.
Real and unreal are very personal perceptions

La fotografia è per me legata alla strada e alla passione per il viaggio, camminare e raccogliere emozioni.

Camminare per conoscere il mondo e le persone, avvicinandomi silenziosamente alla loro intimità per registrare momenti di umanità. Vivere esperienze che mi arricchiscono, cosi' che la fotografia diventa il migliore modo espressivo per raccordare il mio intimo con l'esterno. Nelle immagini cerco di unire profondità di spazio e di sensazioni.

Amo osservare e ho il piacere dello scatto quando mi sento completamente coinvolto in quel momento di attesa piuttosto che di anticipazione, un tempo a volte indefinito e carico di tensione nella ricerca di un'armonia per la composizione che si sviluppa rapidamente nel mirino della macchina. Il mirino quel piccolo rettangolo che magicamente contiene ed esclude.

Sono affascinato dal malinteso che la fotografia è in grado di generare nel fermare un attimo di vita, e in questo malinteso mi piace cogliere l'ambiguità, l'ironia, il dubbio, il riflesso, un punto di vista insolito.

Ogni immagine è poi solamente un'interpretazione della realtà.
Reale ed irreale sono stati percettivi personali.
